Meet Me

??????????????????????????????

I am Joanne and the “daughter” in Katherine’s Daughter. This blog is a creative outlet for my writing and an expression of my faith in God. I dedicate this blog to my mother Katherine and thank her for all the life lessons she has taught me.

As I grow in my faith, I look for chances to view everyday, ordinary things through an extraordinary lens. Chance happenings, big or small trial and errors, love, nature, even marriage are all on my radar as opportunities for moments of grace.

You do not have to be religious to follow this blog, just interested in a deeper connection to the universe, or the God of your understanding. If you are frazzled by life, have health or mental well being issues, this blog may help you relax and have a clearer focus or perspective.

I’ve love to know you and what you are searching for. So please feel free to leave a comment below or email me privately at joannejamiscain@gmail.com. Thank you for taking the time to stop and visit today. I hope you decide to subscribe to my weekly posts by filling in your email address on the sidebar of this site.

“Ordinary is Extraordinary is for anyone who wishes for a more fulfilling life. Our lives are busy and oftentimes we get caught up in a frantic pace. Through sharing her personal experience, strength and hope, Joanne Jamis Cain makes us aware of the grace to be found in everyday life. A recovering perfectionist, Joanne encourages simplicity and mindful living instead of worry and impatience. Through her stories of grace, love, and parking spaces, she tells us how reframing our experiences helps us recognize the blessings in our lives. Embracing a life of purpose and gratitude is a game changer. Joanne’s debut inspirational book will motivate you to look inward to find meaning and purpose in your life.”
